Lowering car w/ GC coilovers

Lowering car w/ GC coilovers
car : 91 CRX si
suspension: GC coilovers (500/400) w/ illuminas
trying to get a nice stance and have some questions. looking to get like 1/2" gap all the way around. but it seems like i have to lower the rears ALL the way down to get that. is that normal?

also would like to add that i want to lower the car to look nice and perform well. i know lowering too far can start to mess up the geometry, but at what point is that?

I dunno, but you dont wanna go any lower than that.. It will bottom out and the upper control arms will hit the top of the inner shock rower...

LoL.. I installed the suspension just after I got it in April 2005. havent driven it since April 2006 and I forgot.
I use it for winter .

Doesn´t sound normal to me, I have GC on yellow Konis and when I have a 2-3 finger gap I can lower the car a lot more on the sleeves.

got my height all sorted out 
looks good i think. 5" front 5.25" rear (measured from ground to lowest part of rocker). freaking took me like 2 hours to get everything right though. constant adjusting.
