My friend is selling is willing to sell me his two seats from his 2004 Si. But before I buy the seats, I would like to know if these seats will bolt right on or will i have to do some customization work to my 1996 Honda civic ex coupe or to the seat rails?

 

You will Definately need to fabricate them to fit your coupe, as they just wont bolt right in.

Plus the fact that they sit higher than the stock seats and look totally out of place in an EK - it's a tight fit.

 

So do you think it is just easier to buy racing seats and buy brackets? Or would it be easier to put 94-01 integra seats.

 

well its up to you, but if you buy racing seats i wouldnt go buy something cheap personaly, so it depends on how much you want to spend, if you dont want to spend much you can get some integra seats, right now i have leather teg seats in my ek hatch, and i kinda like them the rear seat fit too. there is a little gap tho. idk if the rear will fit in your coupe someone else might know.
