Ok, My friend just got a B20/vtec motor from japan. It has toda cam gears on it, and it has a Top fuel clutch , and bunch of random stuff on the motor. Now on the cams it has a letter C on them. I was wondering if they are toda cams to go along with the Toda gears that are on it. Does anyone know if Toda Spec C cams have a letter C on the side.

 

I'm pretty sure it does say c on them.

 

Yes. I have Toda C's and they have a 'C' on the distributor end.

But whats weird about the motor, is it has stock springs and retainers.
Also pulled the head, and the pistons are stock B20, but they shaved the valve releifs down some.

 

If it has a C on both intake and exhast camshafts, maybe you should just sell it to me and not worry about it

my a's and b's have the letter stamped. though if i remeber right, i think its more twords the cam gear side.

 

nope its the dist side saw it last night on my c's
