Default brake and srs indicator lights...

My brake indicator light has been on for about 3 weeks and all of my brake lights are all working properly... Why is it doing this?

ALso I had to remove my blown airbags and the srs light is on of course... how do I get rid of that light? I already tried removing the fuses..

check your grounds, one is in the trunk in the very middle right below the u latch. might need cleaning. for the airbag i think you would need to have honda replace airbags which costs alot. they probly reflash the ecu cel codes. i had the srs light come on when i forgot to release ebrake and drove for 3 blocks. went away after turning off the engine and restarting. anyyyywayyy...

yeah for new airbags and labor try 3000 dollars... that is why they totaled my car but I decided to keep it and go with no airbags for now

no nono.. sorry if I misled but it is the BRAKE LAMP indicator not the brake indicator.

for the srs I think I am just going to cut the wire to the light so it will go off but I will try the deal with the ground wire for the brake lamp

My brake lamp indicator stays on frequently too, doesn't matter if the ebrake is on or down, I was told that it wasn't a problem and I don't think you can fix it by taking out the fuse, doesn't that just cut all the power to the dash lights?

Low brake fluid will also trip the brake light.

are you sure both of your brake lights come on when the brake lamp light comes on? im pretty much about to kill someone with my drivers side brake lamp. it will go off at random times and stayed on for quite a while until i cleaned the trunk brake light ground. now it only comes on once every 2 days or so for about 3 min then goes off. ticks me off really much. i know from the haynes manual that there is another brake light ground inside the chassis by the center console i think it was. haven't gotten a chance to check it yet but hopefully that will fix the stupid light

btw dude sweet avatar you and JTCdudeman have the best ones on the site ^_^. is that your car or a takata ad?

there's a service connector for the SRS system that you need to jump, but the process to get the code to clear is quite involved. do a search
