b16 overheating problems
i have civic hb cx swat b16 2gen......i just bought new INTEGRA MISHIMOTO ALUMINUM RACING RADIATOR much biger than stock rediator...i test drive 5 min on the block and my engine is overheat, nothing was leak and i check Radiator Hose on the top is hot than i check Radiator Hose down the bottom is cool..i don't know what going on it..
my friend told me i put too cooler and my b16 can not handle or my thermostat is not open when it hot....he ask me to drank so cooler out so i did but still overheat...
you think i need to buy Performance thermostat open at 65 f
or b16 can not handle INTEGRA ALUMINUM RACING RADIATOR.
anyone have suggest can help me out

Ok first let the car cool down all the way
Make sure the coolant is topped off
Leave the radiator cap off
Then start the car with the heat on hot/defrost FULL BLAST
As the engine/coolant warm up, watch the radiator and fill with more coolant if the coolant level goes down.
Once the temp gauge is at normal and the heat comes out hot, put the cap back on and you should be ready to go.
Make sure the coolant is topped off
Leave the radiator cap off
Then start the car with the heat on hot/defrost FULL BLAST
As the engine/coolant warm up, watch the radiator and fill with more coolant if the coolant level goes down.
Once the temp gauge is at normal and the heat comes out hot, put the cap back on and you should be ready to go.
