i just recently went to both of that paint shop.. they quoted me about the same price of what i want to get done. i was just wondering if you guys can or let me know which place have better quality outcome for my paint job..

if anybody been through there and have experience with them i would like to hear.. or any places you can recommend. thank you


btw who have got their car painted at 1 day and carcoa, can you please how it came out. thnx

also i heard carcoa do integrated paint, which mean their clear coat is mix with their base.. i dont really know how that work

u can go to 1day but if you want quality work go to carcoa

I'm going there tomorrow so we will see how it goes. I did 1day the first time and for $520 plus body work it came out pretty good.
but i want to try something different

also remember if you wanan get it painted at carcoa, go to their website and print out the 10% discount. it will help you save some $$$

$520 was "supposedly" 3 coats of paint and then a integrated clear coat (which is paint mixed with clear coat)
overall it came out good but as far as orange peel and so forth when you go that route you can wetsand that bitch.

Carcao $550 and $750 job both come with mixed clear coat
$1300 and up come with 5 layer paint and 2 layer clear i believe but the biggest difference is the clear is separated and the wetsand and polish the bitch which is way better if you want it to last


was the $1100 for the mixed clear and paint or the separated paint and clear??

yeah i have seen some of there one stage jobs and they do come out FTW status but like i said they can't wetsand the bitch
i get it now..the reason your price was 1100 it cuz of the body work

they sand, primmer and paint unlike 1day which is why I would also suggest Carcoa. Plus they use Sherwin Wil.
1day used TJ brand X which peals off if your front end get smacked

Tell people whom have painted one 1 day to post their jobs and ask people whom have gone to Carcoa to post their jobs

i would stick with Carcoa and get a different package
what package deal did you get cuz the one stage is the $550 one sound like your doing $500 worth in body work that you can possibly do yourself and then just take it to them

 

um i got like some paint chip on top next to my sunroof, a lil small dings here and there, not alot, and shaved trunk and side molding. plus my rear bumper is gonna get fix and yea,

 

need some answer
