Have 96 Civic EX (EJ8) w/o Honda keyless remotes... do I need the OEM deck?
I just acquired a 96 Civic EX, I currently do not have the Honda Keyless Remotes but I will be installing an aftermarket deck and an aftermarket alarm system. If I were to use my alarm remotes... will I still need the original deck (I am assuming not)?
I also have difficulties physically locking the driver's door from the inside... but if I were to use the key on the outside, it locks/unlocks fine. Will this affect my alarm keyless entry?
If I were to use the harness for 86+ Hondas and not the 96-98 non keylessone one... how do I rig it so I get the dome light feature to work?
Thanks!

If I remember right, the keyless actuator works off the outside key lock rod... So no, it shouldn't affect operation with keyless... However, if you want to fix the problem, pull the door panel off, and then remove the vapor barrier. Follow the lock rod from the inside lock switch (not the electric switch but the plastic piece you use to lock/unlock)... Follow that rod over to a plastic oval shaped piece that connects to another rod. Use some wd40 or other cleaner/lubricating type oil and remove all of the grit/dirt that collects in there... My passenger side lock didn't work, and I did this and it works like new now...

There's 2 pins that need to be jumped, but I'll be damned if I can remember which ones... Maybe FCM remembers..
No.

Neat and easy, no cut oem wires, I guess you could always get the jumper plug, see which wires it jumps then return it.

How would I use the HA02B and the HA04B together?
I have the HA02B but am to cheap to buy the new harness.
Where would the HA04B plug into? That is the first I've seen.

Do I need this kit?

I was told it wasn't necessary but the InstallDR said I should. It costed me $15 CDN but haven't got the chance to pick it up yet. I can pull out the factory deck without any tools (previous owner must have not mounted it), what can I do to prevent this?

You don't need it, but it makes it look a lot nicer... If you look at your factory radio, it's not a perfect rectangle, it's got that weird angle on the left side... That kit fills that left hand gap, and cleans it up.
