That sounds too wide for your car (both wheels and tires). You should probably be getting 205/45-17 tires on 17x7 wheels.
Which Accord year, body style, version, and engine?
I assume this is just for daily driving, rather than the racetrack or autocross?

If your car originally came with the 4-cylinder, get 205/45-17 tires on 17x7 wheels.
If your car originally came with the V6, get 205/50-17 or 215/45-17 tires on 17x7 wheels.

No, that's too wide also. Don't get tires that are too wide, or they will be liable to rub. (If you're looking for better performance, concentrate on getting better, stickier tires, not wider tires.)
If your car originally came with the 4-cylinder, get 205/50-16 tires on 16x6.5 wheels.
