So they finally found my girl's car on Friday night. Her LS four door now has no wheels, engine/tranny, front seats, center console, driver's window, badges, or license plates. I'm not sure what we're going to do yet. We were out of town all weekend so it's going to be $200 to get it out of impound; and after that it needs a complete engine changeover. We migkt just sell the shell but I don't think we could get much, even though it is in perfect shape. So if anybody has an Ls swap for sale, please let me know, or if you know somebody who is interested in a perfect 97 white four-door teggy shell please make an offer. My girl is obviously very upset so any help would be appreciated.

 

scrap that car (or whatever is left of it) and buy a newer one.

by the time you replace all those stolen parts your gonna be into a **** load of cash. its not worth it..

Well I'm going to pay the fees to get it out since my girl doesn't seem to want any more to do with it. We just don't have the funds to put it all back together. It's the nicest, cleanest, white, four-door that I've seen. We paid 4k for it and we thought we got a good deal. Anyway, I'm either going to part it out, sell it, or trade it for parts and labor on my integra. I'm going to go get it out tonight and I will post it up tommorow. If anybody's interested then stay tuned. Anyone with an Ls laying around could realy clean up with this shell. Maybe I'll have pics by the weekend.

throw a b20 in there with a b16 tranny, some 16s, and call it a day. i guess she didn't have full coverage? that sucks. when my buddy's lude got stolen, state farm gave him like almost $6000. he bought a lower mile Si in better shape, and had $2000 left over. he came out waaay ahead on that deal.

 

Sounds like you need wheels, an interior, and a motor. If you got the time, I would build it up. If you don't, sell it and get another one...but a 4dr white teg is a good car to have.

 

My little boy had a 104 fever yesterday so I had to take care of him. Today will be another day of fees to get the car out. It needs a motor/tranny. at least one wheel, front seats, and a driver's window. I'll let it go cheap if anybody wants it. I'ts clean inside and out. Somebody give me seven or eight hundred for it and it's yours with a clean title and all. I even have two front seats from my teg in mint condition and an LS auto tranny. Somebody take it and help us out!

We bought the car from the paper. We were the first to answer the add and we bought it. There were alot of other people trying to buy it; even a dealership from Austin. The girl that owned the car held it for us while we got our money together brcause she wanted a nice family to get the car. It's sad to see what's happened to it. If I had an engine for it I know I could get more than 4k for it here in Texas. I just don't have the time or the money.

 

well is there any way you could just hold on to it until you come up with time and money?? you never know what you might come across

 

I'm in an apartment right now, and I can't just leave it outside of the shop cause it'll get stripped. Hoping to find someone who wants it around here. At this point I'd take 500 for it. We'll see what happens.
