Tokico Blues or KYB adjustable
Hello everyone, I'm trying to decide which shocks to get. I have GC's with my stock shocks right now and they are blown so now I feel like getting some aftermarket one. I travel a lot from Sac to the Bay every weekend and you know there's a lot of pot holes of there so I am trying to figure out what shocks should i go with. I don't want it to blow so which one would be able to handle pot holes and all that stuff?
I wouldn't go with either. If you're looking at budget, I'd go with Koni Reds. Then, Tokico Illuminas and Koni Sports (yellows) depending on how much you want to spend.

since you already have GC that fit your stock shocks, you should get tokico illuminas. the reason is because you need a different threaded sleeve and perch to fit koni's properly as you dont reuse the koni perches that are removable.
illuminas are a great shock, better than agx in my opinion. gives you a wide adjustment range and you definately shouldnt even think about tokico blues. the lifetime warranty on illuminas is worth it alone.
and yes, ebay is your friend. theres a retailer that offers great deals.
