i got a question about legalizing a h22a (97+) in a 91 ef-8 dx.. could it be done?.. i red about gsr and all about being legalize.. but could an h22a also?... i wanna kno before i proceed

 

yeah its possible....just have to get it ref'ed and bar'ed

well you can swap pretty much anything...but you have to get it BAR certified by the CHP office....or just go to a DMV and they will have someone look at your car and ref. it. California sucks with all their emisson laws....good luck man

 

just make it look stock for the bar test. have the right american ecu, and all the emission control equipment that came with the engine. convert to whatever obd the engine is . and it should pass.

 

the question here isnt can it be done.the real question is why would u want to do this when there are better engines to put in.

 

hit ur self, cuz it's cheap n strong, almost the same price as b16, half of type-r engine cost
