Default Rider down

My brothers friend Ben was rideing his gsxr750 the other day and was in a rush to get somewhere grabbed his helmet and threw it on without strapping it up. He was in front of some of his friends who were following him when a lady pulled out in front of him while he was doing over 80 mph he hit head on and his helmet obsorbed most of the impact but then flew off after the initial impact.

He is in the hospital now he was doing fairly well last night but slipped into acoma early this morning. Some doctors said it will be a miracle if he makes it. I will try to keep everyone posted but if everyone could take some time out of there schedule and say a quick prayer all of his friends and family will appreciate it.

Thank you

Guys some good news. Ben is still in acoma but his body temp dropped and his brain pressure dropped also which is all good.

Also they ran a test today and took out the breathing tube to see if he would breath on his own.

He breathed on his own once the tube was out but then they reinserted it just in case. He still has a long way to go and every doctor has said he's a long shot to survive but all prayers will be helpfull he is only 19 years old.

Thank you!

Motorcycles are dangerous, especially for inexperienced 19 year olds on quick bikes.

Hope he makes a full recovery. I once forgot to strap my helmet, and felt the strap hit m,y neck a few times. Was on the freeway. Scared the sheeeet out of me. I strapped it up, and consider it lesson learned the easy way to never ever ever forget that helmet strap.

I love bikes but things like this always remind me how dangerous they are. I only ride my shitty 73 honda cl350 around the block b/c I get scared on teh street. lol
