Wierd issue on my 1993 prelude SI
Hey everyone, I have a 1993 honda prelude SI. Here is my issue; maybe once or twice a week i will go to start up my prelude and it will turn over but will not start, It usually takes 1-2 minutes to get it to finally start after cranking it for quite a long time. All the other times it starts fine not problems, like I said, this only happens once or twice a week, any helpful comments appreciated, thanks
mine does that and it is the fuel pump relay, in the dash kinda close to steering whell column. If i grab the relay and pull it towards me or pull the wires towards me on the plug then you can hear the fuel pump kick in. It only does it when its hot outside. Honda knows its a problem and made a replacement relay but would not recall it. The relay is 30 dollars and not to hard to change... I just know what the problem is and have been too lazy to go out and buy the new one...but it is coming in the near future

Alright, thanks for all the replies. That makes alot of sense. Where I live its been 110 degrees all summer in the midday, and that is the only time it has done it. Thanks for all the replies.
