Just bought my s2000. Do you have to have the stock cd player/strereo for the controls on the left o
I used search but didnt find anything. I just bought a 2002 S2000 and it is equipped with an aftermarket cd player. The controls to the left of the steering wheel on the dash dont function properly, but they light up and everthing. Is this because they are only compatible with the stock unit?

you need an adaptor.
Modifry's DCI is what you want. adds the function of the stock buttons and MORE. just get the right adaptor for your head unit, manufacturer and model.
