I keep seeing ads saying that a supercharger for the 4th Gen preludes are under development. Does anyone know if there is one on the market now or any kind of expected release dates for a supercharger for the 4th Gen VTEC preludes?? If so please post the links or any info that might help, thanks

 

Some guy on preludeonline.com managed to fit a JRSC on a 4G. Do a search over there.

 

you should see it! that thing is soooo fabricated up. if the engine moves just a tiny bit the belts going to hit something and be catastrofic! its still a coo setup tho.

superchargers are stupid on 4 cyl cars.

if you want FI, go turbo - especially because the kits are nearly the same price.

now maybe if vortech can make one as impressive for the H22 as they did for the B16, I'll change my mind

i too have seen it first hand and he's having major tuning issues and also a slight problem with the belt hitting the strut tower when the engine shifts back.

 

remember even if vortech comes out which they say they will within the next year.

the price tag will most likely be in the area of $4000.

at that price, turbo becomes a better option.

 

you could piece together a turbo and start to build your motor for that much!
