ls vtec... couple questions
ok so i have a couple question for everyone out there... i am building an ls/vtec and have come across a situation...
i bought a b18a1 block for 150 bucks, ripped it all apart and found that the #1 cylinder was froze, and by froze i mean needed a BFH to get it to even budge.
So my question is since i need to get it bored should i go all out? say 84-84.5mm? and then get a block gaurd or should i get a set of darton sleeves?

all out = cracked sleeve. If you want to go 84mm+ then you really need to get sleeves. Thats assuming you're going ls/vtec, have "performance" goals at hand and plan on revving past 6800 or so.

i wouldn't bore that much on stock sleeves, I definately recommend new sleeves
