i have a stock 99 civic si and have a b18b1 engine to use parts from. both engines have the same size fuel injectors but dont know about the rest of the fuel system. other than that i cant think of anything that would have to be done. so is there anyone who knows what has to be done and would the si ecu need to be reprogrammed?? or could i use a Fuel Pressure Optimizer

You cant put B18b1 internals in a b16a without custom pistons. The deck height of the B18 is taller than the B16 so the pistons will ram into the head. There was a member on here that used to sell the custom pistons otherwise it wont work.
Tech43racing used to sell the pistons, Crower also makes them as part of the B16 stroker kit. Find anyone whom sells B16a stroker kits and they should have the pistons. I hope this helps you out.
