Default Those with a V6 transmission out of warranty needing rebuid: What have you done?

Those of you that had your 98+ V6 transmissions take a dump on you and were out of warranty: Where did you take your car to have the transmission repaired? Were you satisfied with the result?

Car:
99 V6 coupe
160k miles

Thanks for your input!

I went to Kenndy Transmission. Worst decision ever.....they still have not gotten it right..........

I should have just paid the Honda dealer to replace the transmission

ck123, those cars are notorious for having horrible tranny's , 150k is about their break-point if not earlier

Where are you located? What exactly did they do to your tranny?

well it started about 20k or so ago and has slowly been deteriorating. I'm about to take it to an Aamco where I know the manager, but was hoping to hear that someone else has done this and had a good experience. And yes V6 trannies are droppen like flies!

Thanks guys
