Default How to id cams?

I bought a '95 GSR. It has a few mods and was wondering if it has cams too. Looked for part #'s on the cams themselves and did not see any.

Clues
revs to 8200 w/ good power at redline
has skunk 2 manifold
aftermarket cam seal
stock cam gears

Cam seal means nothing to aftermarket cams or not.

This should help to see if you have stock cams or not. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1220642

Another odd thing:

I can hear, what I thought were the secondaries opening at around 5100 or so rpm. But maybe this is the vtec sound since I have the skunk2 manifold (secondary butterflies eliminated right?)

if its a true GSR, you deffinatlky have Vtec. it would even say that on the valve cover for the technically impared. a Vtec valve cover wont fit on a non vtec head, so...its pretty easy to spot. also, just because someone puts on a new manifold doesnt mean it has after market cams.

That power your feeling, is the Vtec kicking in, and pulling hard to redline foo!

I know it has vtec. I am just posing the question, if vtec is kicking in at 5100rpm, wouldn't it be probable that the cams have been changed? stock vtec occurs at 4400 right?

well silence all your doubts by removing the valve cover and the cam caps...look at the end rings on the exhaust and intake cam (passenger side)
