Stock OEM ITR cd/radio player vs. aftermarket
I currently have a panasonic wma/mp3 player on my GSR, but I'm thinking of selling it and getting a stock ITR cd/radio. I like the stock look and im not much of a lound bang type guy. Just wondering hows the sound quality when playing cd's, and how well does it handle aftermarket speakers/amp. Thanks
im sure the itr wont play mp3s or have the preout connections for external amps....
id keep the panasonic...its probably a much higher quality cd player than the hypeR

i have a stock 00 gsr cd/player with the oem 6 disc changer hooked up to a small 120 amp with 1 10' kennwood sub pinoneer 3 ways in the front and infinity 6x9's in the rear sounds just right to me. not to much bump but enough bass to to hear inside and not out for everyone else to hear.
I would say stay with what you got. Panasonic is really good especially for its cd quality stick with it. If you want to go back to factory settings at least change the speaks to Infinity Kappa's or just any infiniti setup then it would make stock sound good. IMO i would say stick with your panasonic
There's no point in getting an ITR radio unless you like paying more for the amber. If you want a stock radio, get another trim's radio (ie GSR or LS). If you do like the amber, a 97-01 Prelude radio is an alternative choice. It's cheaper, plug and play, and it's amber.
