Default 2006 SI at Nopi on Dyno

Went to Nopi today and got a chance to watch a FG2 dyno with a AEM short ram and a Greddy caback(2.36 inches) stock is 2.25. weather was about 86 degrees and about 40% humidity. i thought the results were about what i was exspecting. he did 3 pulls in 4th and got 179HP and 129lbs of TQ and this was on a dyno-jet

That's less than I had stock on a dynojet (183.5 whp & 129 tq).
Maybe it was just the temperature (though there are corrections for that).

yeah i wasn't really expecting much from the short ram intake and a 2.36 exhaust, the FG2 breaths quite well. a cold air and maybe a 2.5 or 2.75 inch catback would of yielded better results i'm sure. plus just like the A2 engine in the rsx-s alot of hp gain is unleashed when adding a raceheader to the Z3 engine

Look at my sig. That was on a Dyno Jet with just a drop in K&N. The car had 500 miles on it to.. And this is the same Dyno TOV uses.

All dynos will tend to show different numbers.

Go to the track. 1/4 mile times tell you what kind of power you're making much more than parking your car on some rollers will.
