OBD0-obd1 jumper harness question, a lil losT?..
my question was..i have a 91 honda civic ex sadan, and i went and got a d15b,and ajumper harness.what i wanna noe is ... do i keep my d16a6 manifold..?do i use the obd0 injecters or obd1?...what ecu do i buy?...plus im shaving some pounds off the flywheel...whats a safe number on that with out me loosing a leg...any link or help would be nice..thanx...
1. Use the D15B manifold
2. If you are planning on using a P28 ECU you will have to use the D15B's distributor. You can use the OBD1 injectors but will have to delete the resistor box. You can use the OBD0 injectors and keep the resistor box with the P28. You will also need to convert to a four wire O2 for the the P28 ECU.
3. P28 SOHC VTEC ECU
4.Just get a lightened flywheel/clutch package (might as well do the clutch while its out) from Exedy its not that expensive
Also you will need some wiring from the VTEC solenoid and Pressure switch to the ECU an either repin the distributor plug to use the OBD1 or just buy a distributor adaptor. Also some advice change the timing belt, water pump and any oil seals that will be harder to get to once the engine is in the car.
