Default how Too do 0bd0 to 0bd1

Just wanted to know a few different points on convertin my REX to OBD1. What are the pros of this and the cons of this. What type of wiring is involded. Engine bay and interior or just engine bay and than i could lose my MSD . Motors a 95 D16Z6 Vtec. Also how much of a difference would it be on motor wise and money wise. If there is any sites or write up on how to do that i wouldn't mind taking a look at them. Thanks Everyone

I don't beleive its a obd 1 dizzy bc its running msd and the dizzy is on a crazy angle. Stock crx computer as well. Its just a cheap D16Z6 swap that the guy did before i bought the car. So i want to know what is all needed to do the full obd1 conversation computer and all. What parts are needed for the complete obd1 conversation in my stock 88CRX with a D16Z6..

You will also need to run some wires for the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch and extend some wires for the fan switch from the back of the block to the water neck housing at the thermostat.

as i said if you just get the kit from rywire you dont need to run any wires or any new plugs

blamo
so if you go the clean easy route
all the wires cut/cleaned/loomed 190
4 wire o2-80? forgot how much these cost
dizzy- used one 50
p28 ecu virgin- 100
so with the easiest least headache route your looking at 420 ish

The OBD1 computer has a faster processor so it can keep up with the O2 and other sensors better, improving driveability. It also has VTEC control. Any other mechanism that engages VTEC wont do it under the optimal conditions and wont provide optimal fuel and timing changes. Basically you're looking at more power throughout the RPM range and especially after VTEC engages, better fuel economy, and lower emissions.

I have a OBD0 to OBD1 wire harness conversion that plugs directly into your dash harness and into any OBD1 ECU for sale. I also have a P28 ECU for sale. Ill take $300 for both or any trades will be considered. if interested Email me Sk8er781@excite.com, or fell free to call (410) 288-0905, ask for Phil

You could also just run a PWO/PR3 ECU and just wire in VTEC
