Power to manual swap...
I was looking around online the other night and i found a site that actually sold used steering racks... the site is http://sohfast.com/store/used/civic.asp#steering... I have a 1997 Civic right now with a GSR swap and it has the power rack and i want to put the manual rack in.... the reason is because i dont have the lines or bracket to use the power pump and i would rather swap out the manual rack than loop the line on the power rack.. because i dont have the lines or any fittings to do it and i figure i might as well just do it the right way anyways... besides the manual racks are 19:1 and the power racks are 17:1... so the manual would be easier to steer...just have to turn more... and thats what im use to because i did have a EG... anyways they are only 140 bucks... im just curious to how much work it would be to actually remove the power rack and put the manual rack up in there.... any advice or input would be helpful.. thanks guys...
