Ok so I'm thinking of/about to order, Skunk 2 Stage 2 camshafts and the gears and the whole deal. My question and thus my situation is this:
Right now the only mods on the engine are an Injen CAI, and bigger exhaust, would it be better/ get more hp, to get a Header first before I get the internals done or can I get a header after doing the internal work? As for the header im thinking of getting either the SMSP or Hytech or Spoon or something of that nature......

 

My advice would be to get a Rage header for $650 since they are an exact copy of the SMSP header, before you do any internal work. You need to get rid of that bottleneck( stock header) in your exhaust system

haha, indeed you should def get a header before you do head work. i would go with RMF

 

thats what i was thinking, but im getting some mixed advice from others and wanted to know some more definite reasons......it wouldnt be long that I would have all the internals done to the header.....its just a quesion of which one first
