Did search...sorry to bring up an old discussed topic on Engine Oil....
I will be doing my own oil for the first time and I have to decide on an engine oil.
Here are the parameters:
1. This will be the engine oil I will be using for the ITR Expo. So, I will be in VTEC for long periods of time.
2. This will be the engine oil I will be using to drive to the Expo, so extended time when engine is at 4-5K rpm. Maybe upto 4-6 hours on the highway.
3. The temperature will be between 40deg F upto 80+ degF
4. I will use the stock Honda Filter
5. I usually take the car to the dealer for oil changes. So right now the car has 5w-30 regular oil.
I know this has been discussed NUMEROUS times, but I can't find the answers in the search.
Thanks for your answers.

Yeh, I know....I really didn't want to bring this topic up, again...but oh well. Maybe there are new experiences out there. But, please informed answers only. Thanks again.
I have only 1 advice. It doesn't really matter what brand you use, but use a thicker oil for the track and flush it after the EXPO.
congrats on the first oil change!
What is your question?
-Honda filter =
-Mobil 1 =
-changing before the trip =
-changing after the event =
Will
-who has flushed his oil after last weekends event at CMP.
