is 9XXXrpm ok?

9500 seems a bit high, I personally wouldn't run more than 9100 on a stock bottom end...

With just an updated valvetrain I'm sure you might be able to go there but I would highly suggest beefier rods and re-balancing the crankshaft.

Honestly I don't see you making power up there on stock pistons either.

Get ARP rod bolts, shotpeen stock rods or get eagle rods, and balance/weightmatch the rods and pistons, and balance the crankshaft. You'll be good for 9500
