No, it should fit in the stock location.

Spot on. I replaced my exhaust (after it rusted off from the catback) with a RSR Ex Mag and it bolted right on no problems.

I ordered mine a while back. I don't know what constitutes the "2nd" one it looks like a regular exmag and all the piping was black.

the first one was super quiet, chambered i believe. the exmag II is straight through, which makes it louder

Do not spread the wrong information around.
Taken from http://www.rs-r.com
Each ExMag system is custom tailored for each application. The ExMag muffler can be either a straight through, loop or chambered design.

Awesome choice man! The ExMag is tite! Its quiet and has a sleeper look to it. Too bad they only make it for the 2drs. Id get one for my 4dr if they made them... You dont have to replace ur cat, but I'd get a brand new high-flow one.

I had that the ex mag on my gsr and it was good. It looks like stock which is good. It is almost as quiet as stock too which is good, but I like a little more exhaust note than what it gives. Good luck with it.
