Default Good Tire combo....

Well since my Konig's have been trashed by the accident i'm going to be rolling on some Black Del Sol VTEC wheels which are 14x5.5.....I'm not a big fan of skinny tires so since these tires are on there last leg I wanted to know if it's fine for me to run a 195/60/14 tire with a wheel spacer to widen the track to improve handling...the current tire size on the rims are 185/65/14 and well in my opinion they feel like the tire since there's not much of a contact patch that is has a bit of an oversteer effect....it's not much a difference in number but when you think about it with suspension and tire combos the slightest change makes a big difference....

Yes it will be fine.

I've run 205's on a 5.5 wide wheel with no problems.

So is there still a difference in handling?

Thats what i was thinking I just wanted to make sure that it was possible to run that tire set up the Del Sol VTEC rim not the fat fives but the skinny fives....

I saw somewhere that the most you can try to run on a 5.5 is a 215....so i'll so what tires around and make a good desicion...thats man i hope some more people can help out....
