Alright so I have a 96 Civic CX that needs a new paint job im planning on painting it championship white with a mettalic flake. Do I have to go to Honda to get this paint? Or does somebody sell it online? I've been doing a little searching on this but can only find color codes. I whent to House of Kolors and could only find the the flake I needed and couldnt find the white... Please help and thanks for any helpo in advance...

IF you dont know where to get paint you shouldnt be painting. Painting isnt as easy as you think. Also, there is alot of bad stuff in it that can really harm you. So unless you plan on spending alot of money and buying a fresh air supply id take it to a pro. Not only will it come out better ,but you'll save yourself a big headache. Just my advice

I am quite aware of the risks of painting and I've done it before....
Had a 1990 Ford Ranger that I painted Midnight Blue with mettalic flake. It turned out to appear as a professional job minus a few swirls in the paint due to some sanding I had forgotten to finish. I have expeirience painting I've been doing alot of my freinds car repainting and touching up after they have gotten numerous mods and/or replacements on there car. And sorry if I sound full of myself,
Im not trying to be im just saying. I know how to paint a vehicle and have all the proper equipment. As for the white I met this kid at a car show who did it a couple years back to his SI and I liked it I'd like to do it and the paint turns out perfectly fine I know how to do it im just wondering where to get the paint. Besides Honda
Editorial:My dad used to do this this for a living for 25 years also, Thus me having the equip... He will also be helping me in the project so its not like even if I had no idea on what I was doing it would turn out like ****. I have someone helping that does know how...

Well then where did u buy the paint for this? Should be the same place...anyways...just find the paint color code and go to a auto paint store (i dont know if it has to specifically be an auto paint store) and give them the color code and tell them to mix it for you...that's what I did with my car...
