Default EXHAUST OPINION

Ok, So here I am with my 91' Civic LX Sedan. I want a good sounding exhaust but not a huge ricer fart can. I have access to a welder and we cant bend pipes easily. But my question is what muffler should I use that isnt a fart can and has more of an impact on horsepower, not alot, but some.

Thanks

go wid apexi or hks.... just make sure you keep the resonator if you are going to have custom piping done.... its not always the fart can that make that buzzing ricer sound... believe it or not its depends on the piping and on the resonator, if you got it or not.... and at times it depends on how good your muffler is too...

ill give you an example... i paid $200 for a name brand muffler bomb style and that exhaust had the nicest deep tone sound to it...
then on my other DA i had bought a $50 ebay Tsudo bomb style muffler.. and had custom piping done to it... no resonator... it has an okay sound... deep at times... but when you let it ride in the high rpm you get that buzzing ricer sound... i think its cuz i have no resonator and cuz of the muffler too....
so the following week imma have my apexi ws2 and get some resonator installed...
