Default LSVTEC question.

I have this so far...

fully machined block, .20 over.
stock ls crank (micropolished, the works)
jdm sir2 head (mild port/polish, 3 angle valve job, basic recondition job)
eagle h beam rods
SRP 11.5-1 forged pistons
ACL bearings
golden eagle girdle, gsr windage tray, pickup, and oil pan
golden eagle ls/vtec kit
type R oil pump
GSR water pump
GSR timing belt
skunk 2 pro series intake manifold

im sure im leaving something out...

anyways, my main concern is, what kind of fuel am i going to need to keep this thing on the road? chipped p28 and a fuel pressure regulator gonna cover it, or should i invest in megasquirt or something like that? Also, whats everyone's opinion on a chipped p28 w/no knock sensor. Am i in danger here? Please help, i've put a lot of time/money into this setup and i really need a cheap reliable solution to my tuning issue. Even if it's just enough to safely drive. Thanks.

You can have someone tune your setup using Crome/Hondata/Neptune (Crome being the cheapest) using the chipped P28 ECU. Any of these are far superior to Megasquirt, which I would never run on an engine I had more than $100 invested in.

Search for a tuner in your area, and consult them as to what is the best route. You may need to upgrade your injectors depending on how much power you want to make.

That was very helpful and has helped me decide on what to do. I had no idea making my own chips would be so easy. Thanks man.

No problem, however for what you have invested in your engine and the experience with tuning that you have, you might want to consider contacting a tuner with a dyno close to you. There is a list of tuners stickied at the top of the Forced Induction forum. Here is the link: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1347699

If not get a wideband and stay safe/conservative with the timing until you can get the car on a dyno to tune it.
