Default Oil in spark plug threads and loosing oil, just found out today

Hey everyone, im getting some oil in my sparkplug threads, and seems like im losing oil, i checked my oil today and it was at the 1st dot, good think i check often , last week it was good now its lower, i dont see my car leaking from underneath, i see no oil markim guessing that it goes to through the threads and into the combustion chamber,

has this happened to anyone?

do i need some sort of gasket to fix this or is the engine done, i would appreciate some help, ill also go look through my Auto Book from school. If this has happened to anyone and theyve been through this let me know what to do thanks.

dang i filled the oil to teh level it should be, drove it around to the store and tec, and its a little lower now, shoot, i think i might be loosing oil fast, i just happened all of a sudden, it ran fine last week, i hope its not the head gasket, i got 1 month before school, if it is the head gasket, should i buy a new engine, or just fix it, what would be about the same in work and price?

if you're burning oil your exhaust smoke should be blue when you're at idle....

i would replace your cylinder head valve cover gasket and o-rings if you havent done so....

then check compression...

and if its your head gasket... you should just replace it.... how much mileage do you have in that current engine....?

my money's on that. if you don't want to get one from honda, you can pick up the whole valve cover gasket and o-rings from autozone (or like-store) for like $30.

when i let it idle i dont really see any blue smoke in the exhuast, but ill take a much closer look and if i did see some i proboly dismissed it becuase i just seafoamed my car so i thought it still had some left over.

my cars engine has about 85kmiles on it i bought it about 2 weeks ago. Ill see if i can check the compression too,

1 question on doing a compression test, do i have to remove a fuse, like the fuel fuse to do a compresion test, and whats a normal numbers for a DX d15 motor?

ill go to Autozone and get that VALVE COVER GASKET and O ring, I DONT KNOW IF THEY COME WITH BUT ILL ASK. WISH ME LUCK EVERYONE , THANKS FOR YOU HELP

when you do compression test you dont have to remove anything... you just hook up that compression tester in each of your spark plug hole.... crank the engine at least 7-10 times...
and its should read 140-160.... i believe 180 all across is a perfect compression.... if you have a cylinder that has a difference of 15-20 from all the others that cylinder is bad...

good luck... keep us updated...
