Wiring E-Cutout controlled by a sunroof switch??
I just bought a electronic cutout from DMH and I would like to know how to wire it up to a sunroof switch. I am guessing I will need a relay or two. I already have 1 radio shack relay.
Any help would be great. thanks.

It is an electronic plate that opens to become open downpipe rather than having the exhaust travel through the cat and muffler.

man I been looking for one of thoses, I had a old one back in the day, you had to pull a cable to open it. leak sometimes, but hey great find, it comes with a switch why not use that?
Ditto the above, why not use the switch it comes with?
The sun roof switch is momentary and I believe you need an off/on switch, you would need to wire 2 SPDT relays as latching and use ign. off to delatch them, a 3rd relay would be needed if sun roof switch output is 12V+.

thanks, I just decided to use the switch it comes with. All the extra wiring and relays do not sound worth all the trouble.
In the end, the cutout sounds amazing!!!
