Default Streetable N/A setup?

Just trying to plan my next mods after the H22 goes in.

I think I'm just going to keep this a street driven, N/A setup...with a little N02 thrown in for kicks. I have a 93 hatch that I'm concentrating the majority of my budget on, so I can't afford another motor for the Lude...(blew the H23 already).

Crower cams cost an arm and a leg...and my left nut, so that rules them out. I heard great things about WebCams...but what's a good setup? Also, how much CR will Type S pistons provide? I really don't want to resleeve the block for high CR forged pistons.

Basically, I'm trying to get the most without spending alot...(isn't everyone?) How about Type S pistons, with a moderately wild Web Cam, dual valvesprings/retainers, and SMS 4-1 headers (whenever they start selling it). I already have a 2.5" exhaust from my previous nitrous setup. Then it's just the matter of getting the little things like cam gears/bigger injectors/etc. And if my budget permits, a Hondata 4 to tune everything.

Any other suggestions?

Man, you might want to see what a plain H22 w/ bolt-ons will do before you go nuts w/ pistons and cams. Intake, SMSP header, your exhaust, and maybe a V-AFC w/ tuning should be good for deep into the 13s, if not high 12s in that light a body w/o the expense of internal work. Also I think Web will custom-grind cams for your application - I believe Todd had Web Cams in the last iteration of his 'lude and Kaufman may have used Web when he built Warrens car (not sure on that tho).

By the way, I'd definitely try to find an OBDI motor for this project if that is an option...

Thanx for the suggestion.

But I think you misunderstood a few parts. This is going into a 4th Gen Lude, I blew up my H23in it. I ALSO have a Hatch that's getting the works done to it...so that's why I just wanted a streetable N/A Lude. Sorry for the confusion. Although an H22 Civic would be quick...I need the Lude to get me to work and pay the bills.
