milage check

is there a way to check the milage on a motor that i am getting swaped in to my LS? the shop says it has low miles but is there a way to check?

If you can possibly get the VIN for the original car it was in, and then maybe do a carfax. From the carfax you can possibly estimate.

No is the answer, chances are it has 120k on it....doesnt matter as long as its in decent health though.
