Default Emission pass with boost?

i was just woundering if it is posible to pass emissions with a boosted D series, because thats the only thing keeping me from doing it. i dont have anywhere up north of here to register where they dont do emissions. i figure ill have to keep it obdII and just get the blocker for the secondary o2 sensor. and as long as they just plug it in and its not throwing any codes, i schould pass right?......thanks

I have a 97 hatch that i am boosting after you install it take you about a day, it will be easy to swap in your stocks when its time for emissions, 2 hours, I live in cali and that is what i do, if you are planning on stayin OBDII what type of fuel management are you going to run? i would suggest going OBDI and chipped, Go to http://www.TurboD16.com they have ton of info that will help you.

It depends. Most of the kit's these days are 50 state legal but when you get into the bigger turbo with 3" this and that it's going to be a bit tough. Just check with the company your buying it from and stay away from "OFF RODE ONLY" and you will be o.k The sniffer sucks

take the 2nd o2 sensor throw it in a coke bottle, duct tape it up, tape it to the bottom of the car, and there that problem goes away. as far as obd2 i think they do stick an exhuast sniffer in the tailpipe so im pretty sure youll fail that way.

if you have for example a D16Y7 and the kit from Greddy, its actually CARB-EO legal. all depends on the setup. and BAR too, if you don't have a EK-DX.

well first i just went through emissions and all they did was pluged the car in and then check the pressure of my gas cap. and i though that if you take an obdII car and swap to obdI thats an automatic fail so i pretty much dont have a choice but to leave it and get one of those chips that block out the secondary o2 sensor
