Default Stock CRX shock/strut opinions!!

Well, like the title:

I have a mint 91 si CRX that has 160,xxx on the clock,
everything is in excellent shape but the shocks seem to be worn out.
They are just too soft over woops and bumps in the road.
I am keeping this car stock but I want to stiffen up the suspension without dropping the car.

Any suggestions for a quality replacement?

all suggestions much appreciated

Koni special "red" shocks. Great shock for the money. Get H&R OE Sports as well, they dont drop the car more than .75" from stock, slightly stiffer rates. I'm sure your current springs are sagging about .5" already.

Also, freshen up all your bushings with new rubber ones.

yeah, the bushings are def suffering, especialy in the rear.
got all the stock honda replacements all around though, just have to install.

anyone else? come to think of it, about a 1 to 1.5 drop would be prefferable.

ground control? Tein? I want quality. I dont want the slammed look though.

koni red & Eibach Pro-kit sounds like what you're after Personally, I'm going to go with the yellows (sports) and the Pro-kit for now...later on when my CRX is not my daily driver I'm going to get some Ground Controls (that work with the koni)
