So seibon is good? I don't want it to be cheaply made. Rather spend the extra few bucks for quality. would you need to use hood pins for cf hoods? thx.

Nine Inch Nails makes carbon fiber hoods?!

I had a Vis cf hood on my 4th gen accord looked great, and now I have a VIS CF trunk and VIS CF hood on my 98 Civic and both look and fit wonderful.
I have a fiber images hood, I love it. Flexes too much in the middle though, do to lack of middle support to lighten the hood more. I think its just my car that this is a problem with, the other ones have more support in the middle...I need hood pins

You do not need hoodpins if the hood is made well. If you absolutely need them or are running ~10secs or lower, you now have a problem. Other than that...its more of a style thing in my opninion. I know people with and without, the people with is more to accent the car (no cheezy sock cars with cf hoods and pins, but completed cars). I myself will keep them off of my car, its not the look I am personally going for. Yes, CF hoods can lift up...but so can metal ones...if your paranoid about losing a hood+windshield, add them, but if its your daily and not a dedicated track car/show car/rarely driven beast, put them on as you may need them.
my car has an OG vis hood form around 99, fitment is good and the clear is coming off, but what can u expect, the car has sat in the sun for 7 years or so and the hood was rarely waxed by the previous owner

Fiber images SUCKS too
Fiber images SUCKS too
ive seen great VIS hoods and shitty VIS hoods
ive seen great fiber imges hoods and shitty fiber images hoods
ive seen nothing but shitty seibon hoods
i personally have owned nothing but fiber images and both of the hoods were perfect..i will only buy fiber images hoods. i had a fiber images hood on my eg for 5+ years and it never faded or cracked. i buffed it 3-4 times a year.
a few buddies who were on a budget purchased VIS hoods and one was good quality..the other sucked..both had spider web cracks and alot of fading within a short amount of time(months)
