ok 1st of all i have a 91 crx si with a zc. The car throws no codes and it runs fine but when it is hot it will not want to run (not overheating jus normal operating temp). It will start and i can feed it gas and it will just bog out n die and will not start and run until it cools off. like i can go to the store run in for 5 min comeout and my car wont run. all i can really think of is maybe distributor but i wanna make sure b4 i shell out the money to get a new one. Any ideas? checked all connectors and the rotor cap everythings tight nothing looked bad when i took off the cap everything looked normal.

yep it always goes bad only when it's hot out, just do a search on main relay

 

Have you done all the usual routine maintenance like changing the sparkplugs, fuel filter, plug wires, etc? Does the car not want to start, or does it just run poor? Main relay could also be a problem, especially in the heat.

 

yea man ive done all the general maintaince and i already looked at everything i could think of im gonna go pickup a main relay today im pretty sure thats what it is after reading up
