I was thinking about going turbo with my LS motor. However, it have 162,xxx miles on it and I was wondering If it's okay to turbo it with such a high mileage or should I rebuilt my motor first?

It depends... If the motor is not blown and drives fine, you usually won't have to rebuild. You really need the opinion of a mechanic or 2 in your local area after they check your car's engine (mainly the seals, gaskets, and condition of the internals).

 

Like Corky Bell says, turbo isnt the answer to an unhealthy motor.

 

Do a compression and leak down test. If the numbers are good, then boost til your needs come to an end (which will never happen, haha...).
