Default B18C Type R Pistons in a B16A will it work and what compression PLEASE HELP

I have read that when putting B16B pistons in a B18C you have to notch the rods so I figured that B18C pistons should fit fine but I want to be 100% sure before I do it. Also does anyone know about what the compression will be. I was thinking close to 12:1 because the B16 head cumbustion chamber is smaller but I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks

R pistons in a B16 will lower the CR, how much depends on what year B16 it is.
