Japanese market (JDM) B16A motors are labeled with a "B16A" stamp. There is NO suffix (e,g, B16A2 or B16A3) like the US, Asian or European counterparts. Hence it is not easy to tell just by looking at the block stamp. Though some suppliers and sellers reference engines as a B16A(2), this is only to signify that it is a 2nd generation engine. Always look closely at the engine codes.

yep all that looks good

only thing else i would get is doing a basic tuneup on it like spark plugs and plug wires, water pump, timing belt, serpetine belt, distributor, thermostat, any cracked hoses, etc...

or would this be a better by instead and then do all the other stuff too? Now all this stuff is install and and drive right? I appreciate the help
