Default Godzilla D16/ B series killer

Just thought I would share some pictures that I took of my D16 monster build. This is a M45 jackson racing supercharger upgraded by endyn. Also a D16 head ported and polished, valve job. I currently have another stock jackson racing supercharger on my stock D16, my plan is to put that on the dyno then replace that supercharger with this one- with the same size pulley and put that on the dyno and see how much of a gain it will provide, the entire inside housing of the supercharger was reworked by endyn- taking it down to a 0 clearance to minimize pumping losses, and as you can see the silencers have also been weleded up, which reduces heat and increases boost. take a look at this then look at a stock supercharger, the differences are dramatic. The pulley in the picture is 3.25" which is supposed to give 12-13psi of boost, there is one smaller pulley which i may purchase that will give 14-15psi, figure i will stay on the safe side for now.

I'd be afraid to run 14 psi just because of the heat generated. Anything over 10psi is useless, I've been told. The air just gets too hot.

I don't think their car was intercooled.
The porting and reshaping made the temps drop.

And when are you going to give me my blower back?
It's either ebay or the red Si but I can't do anything if I don't have my blower.

Also for those that don't know. That head had 200k on it and before it left for Endyne it looked like a big lump of charcoal. They did an awesome job on it.
I may just spring for the same work on mine.

it depends on the blower size...

if it was the stock jrsc it would get too hot, but this set up is supposed to reduce a lot of the heat that is generated. if you'll notice the silencers have been competely welded up. by reducing the heat and pumping losses- by taking it down to a 0 clearance on the rotors it will in turn increase the boost - keeping the same size pulley. That's why I want to get a before and after dyno on the same size pulley. look at a stock jrsc to notice the changes. http://www.theoldone.com/artic...1.jpg

Anyone know where to get a dyno in the southern wis area?

He was saying Endyn recomended a Crane cam of some sort I think. He is shooting for 300hp so we'll see if he can do it with the setup he's going for. I don't care for peak hp though, it's the power under the curve that matters.

yeah endyn was testing 3 different cams that would work on my set up last week, he's going to let me know soon which one i should look at. The supercharger modifications were 850$ might sound like a lot, but this was all done by hand, plus the quality is amazing. The head work was 550$ that does not include the valves and springs, which endyn recomened would be best of the sc D16 setup. One thing I might be looking at doing is sending the S-tube that jrsc provided and the manifold down to endyn to have him polish that up too. right now the inside of the S-tube is full of metal hanging all over the place. he said he takes the s tube, slices it in half and uses cnc to machine it down to a finish then welds the two halfs back together. this would be an additional 500$ for both the s-tube and manifold.

I know King over in New Berlin has a dyno. I know a guy who goes there with customer cars 1-2 times a week now. kingmotorsports.com

If you're looking for power under the curve, I'd have suggested a vtec head w/zex cam. Since you obviously can't now, some of your better options are regrinds.

So they basicly take the stock d16 S/cer from the jackson racing kit and revamp it? I had been told they provided a totally different charger...I guess I was told wrong. Or I had been informed of this:

Damn good setup BTW....!

Those are a special setup Endyn is selling for M62 blowers. They still do M45 reworks and I highly recommend the service. I had that done on my SC.
