Default S2S2 cams

Im sure yall have been asked this a million of times but i can find exactly what Im looking for in the Search. Well I have the chance to get S2S2 cams for 320 and Im wondering if I can use the stock valve train or do I have to up grade it? Ive seen articles on some saying you have to and some saying its safer to stick to the stock ones bc of the danger of the piston hitting the valves. any info would be greatly appreciated.
