Default Emergency! I need a response/help ASAP

I'm changing my breaks and rotors, i've already done the passenger side front. But when i went to do the driver side front I think the bottom caliper bolt threads are stripped on it and it just turns in the hole but doesn't come out. I have to leave for work at 2 p.m. and need to get this fixed asap. How do I get the bolt out?? Does this also mean the caliper hole is probably also stripped on the inside and i'll need either a new caliper or the hole re-drilled? This freakin' sucks.

gotcha...there should be a flat rectangular shaped washer on the other side of the caliper bracket that i had to hold with a pair of vice grips till i got the bolt loose. I have a 99 ex w/ no abs so im sure its the same situation. I thought i had striped it as well but once i looked in the bach and saw the flat rectangular shaped washer spinning with the bolt i clamped some vice grips on and vola came right off.

i am also wondering.. since it doesn't look like im gonna get this fixed before work if it is safe to drive my car with a "maybe" stripped caliper bolt and brand new rotor and pads on only one side of the front.... would this make things too un-even?

Yah that thing is spinning with the bolt so i'll try that right now.... i wonder why the other side didn't do this either. But thanks a lot man, i'll check back to update if it worked or not.

Future Reference: Unless you're delivering organs, no job is worth risking your life because your brakes aren't assembled correctly. I'm sure they'd understand if you called and explained.
