Would have posted this in the EG/EK section, but not generation specific.

Just installed a new aluminum radiator and silicon radiator hoses, however when i let the engine heat up i am getting some smoke off of the cap. I did put some polish on the right side and that smoked, but stopped once the polish burned off. Is this just the "newness factor" being smoked off or is it something i should be worried about?

 

Its prolly just some of the "new" burning off. I wouldnt worry about it, but keep an eye on ur coolant level and engine temp.
