Default CTR/ITR shift boots in an EF

I tired a search but didnt come up with much.

are they both essentially the same? will they both fit in the EF? or does one go in better than the other?

you take the boot off of the EK/DC metal frame and put it onto the EF metal frame, then slide it right into your center console plastic piece. works great.

Or you could be ninja and just have red stitching put on your oem one. I've seen it done and you can't tell the difference.
