Pickin up a set tommarow (4/24) just wondering if any other GSR's are running them besides Stinkytofu

any comments, dyno graphs, warnings are appreciated

 

What are your plans?

 

By the end of May hopefully i will be running:
Toda B's - getting tommarow
Toda Valvetrain - ordering tommarow
Portflow Ti retainers - have
Spoon Cam gears - have
Spoon Thin HG - have
Skunk2 manifold - have
AEM CAI - have
Spoon header - waiting to come in from header special
Carsound Cat - look above
VAFC - will have before cam install
Tuning - after everything is broken in and installed

not sure what exhuast i will run. i know B's need higher compression and i will upgrade pistons, but not anytime soon. maybe next spring. any ideas what i should be putting out?

I doubt it. He's doesn't have enough compression. With the spoon head gasket he is only at ~10.3:1, not enough to make good power with B's.

 

well he posted 200+ before the 190....and i know i won't be able to make 200+ or even 190 with stock GSR compression

 

i think it can be done...

can someone post graphs? i want to know what RPM B's stop making power.

 

B's typically peak at around 8600-8800 but it will still make power beyond 9k

 

jdm b16a's will put you at 11.6 and ctr would be at 12.0 with a stock head gasket. jdm honda parts has both of these for 330 including rings. i would def add one of these unless you just want to save for some je's with some rods or sumthin. highest ive been with toda b's was 9k and it still pulled hard (not my car) and at 10.8 cr.

 

with sum ctr pistons on aggressive cams and tuning u will be there
