I was wondering if oil on my spark plugs can make my v-tec not kick in because i just looked at my sparks and saw a lot of oil on each of the spark plug because there was no gasket on my valve cover because the guy put them on the cut valve cover to tune them and when put the other one back on he fergot to put the gasket on and was wondering if oil will make the v-tec kick in later or not at all.
i have cleaned all the oil but havent replace the spark plug and was wondering if the spark plug are the reason why my v-tec is not kicking in but i got some DENSO iridium spark plug and going to put them in by the end of this week

 

VTEC is not kicking in probably because the LACK of that plug gasket. Which results to low oil pressure.

Get a gasket

 

i put the gasket back on and its still not kicking in and i cleaned it as well
but havent changed the spark plug itself
